Swamp Tour and Abita Springs/Spring Break

First Spring Break trip consisted of jumping on the Honey Island Swamp Tour, outside of Slidell, LA. On a pleasant 70-degree Wednesday in late March, we floated around the marsh as our tour guide pointed out gators, snakes, and turtles. Later, we saw some fishing cabins, most of which were wrecked by Katrina. In short, a good day spent seeing wildlife and floating houses.

In the afternoon, we drove over to Abita Springs in order to partake of some Abita beer brands. 2 pints later we moseyed over to the biggest gazebo I've ever seen. We refrained from waltzing and drove back home.
